My Background As a Writer

I started writing for a bit of a hobby in 2015, having been forced into early retirement on medical grounds.

Covering a wide range of subjects, I make humorous and often cynical observations on everyday life. Parodies of popular songs were also done, until a friend suggested that it might be worth having a try at fiction. 

A few failed attempts at short stories followed, and then one day something interesting happened. One particular story of just over 600 words caught the friend’s eye. He remarked on how he could see that there was the potential hidden within that script for a longer story, so I got to work. 

The result of that was ‘Timekeepers of Fate’. I maintain my passion for writing, and tend to be influenced by what I see around me, and through interacting with other people.
